Job Description
Your Team
To guide the homebuyer through the finish selection process while providing professional design advice.
Generate Design Studio option revenue. Ensure all aspects of processes and procedures have been followed to allow for the best possible customer experience.
Your Key Deliverables
Conduct design meetings with homebuyers to review option, flooring and window covering selections. Conduct Lifestyle Review with home buyers and provide professional advice on the types of materials and or upgrades which are most appropriate for buyers.
Educate and disclose information on natural characteristics, or maintenance issues.
Responsible for educating homebuyer on our Customer Satisfaction Survey process.
Process appropriate paperwork to Option Coordinator, following design studio policies and procedures.
Coordinate resolution of any design-related discrepancies with home buyer prior to close of escrow.
Responsible for resolving material sample approvals with home buyer if initial sample submittal does not meet home buyer’s requirements.
Attend weekly Site Team meetings on an as-need basis when feasible to review status of construction, cut off dates and trouble shoot any issues which pertain to the Design Studio.
Attend Design Studio staff meetings.
Attend new product review meetings with industry representatives making recommendations of selections to Director of Design.
Attend industry trade shows, sales training and product knowledge seminars as approved by management.
Attend all team training, establish team-focused relationships with Sales and Construction personnel.
Must Haves
2 years minimum related experience
Strong knowledge of the design industry, finish materials, methods and techniques
Strong computer skills with prior experience with Microsoft Office. AutoCAD and REVIT experience a plus.
Nice to Haves
Degree in Interior Design preferred
