The role and its impact on Verisure Technology
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to support the Research and Insights Team in Spain, with the goal of learning how user insights help improve products, services and the lives of our customers. This position offers hands-on exposure to design research practices by using guided research methods and collaborating on insight generation.
You’ll collaborate closely with designers, product managers, engineers, and the wider Global Design team to gain insights into user behaviours, expectations, and the end-to-end product development process.
Main Responsibilities
As a Design Research Intern, you will support the Global Design Team and learn how research contributes to improving experiences for people. Working closely with your supervisor and senior colleagues, you will:
Support the planning and execution of user testing on the digital and physical products, helping observe and document insights and behaviours.
Assist in collecting and organising qualitative and quantitative data, contributing to basic analysis and insight generation.
Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers, supporting research activities aligned with project needs.
Help prepare research summaries, presentations, and documentation to share learnings with stakeholders.
Support workshops or collaborative sessions by helping with preparation and capturing outcomes.
Assist the Research and Insights Team Leader with internal initiatives, documentation, and exploration of tools and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Currently studying or recently graduated in Design, Psychology, Cognitive Sciences, HCI, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in user research and user‑centred design, with a willingness to learn.
Basic familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office 365, Figma/FigJam, or similar.
Fluency in English and Spanish
