The role is responsible for driving high‑quality product design through hands‑on expertise and leadership of design and innovation practices. This position ensures that every aspect of the product experience meets the highest standards of craft, consistency, and alignment with the design system.

As a member of an agile, global product team, the role leads and develops a team of product designers—providing clear direction, mentorship, and support to enable the creation of impactful, user‑centred product experiences.

With a strategic and holistic mindset, the role shapes both the detailed design and broader service outcomes. This includes defining service‑level KPIs that help the product team measure and understand their contribution to customer satisfaction, business performance, and organisational growth.

Key accountabilities

  • Lead and develop the product design team, providing direction and mentorship
  • Set and drive the design vision aligned with product and business goals
  • Oversee end‑to‑end user experience, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Embed continuous discovery and user research into the design process
  • Define and maintain design standards and systems, including accessibility and compliance
  • Track key product KPIs to guide design decisions and measure impact
  • Foster a creative, innovative, and collaborative environment
  • Improve design processes for efficient, agile delivery
  • Evaluate and adopt tools and technologies that enhance design quality and workflow

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10+ years of UX design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped product work.
  • Proven track record in leading design activities and managing end‑to‑end product design.
  • Experience building and leading UX teams, with strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Deep expertise in user‑centered design, storytelling, and articulating design decisions.
  • Hands‑on experience conducting user research, usability testing, and applying insights to design.
  • Ability to connect design outcomes to business goals and product strategy.
  • Skilled in agile, iterative design processes and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Proficient with industry‑standard design tools and technologies.
  • Retail or AdTech experience is a plus.
  • Degree in UX/Product Design, HumanCentered Design, Graphic/Communication Design (preferred).
