As a Project Specialist, you’ll be responsible for procurement of goods and services to ensure the park’s needs are met while adhering to the general guidelines of SEA Purchasing Standards.
Assist in the overall annual budget preparation and year-end projections for SeaWorld and Sesame Place General Services & Rides.
Create and maintain systems for financial tracking and cost analysis OPEX.
Provide monthly budget reconciliation including but not limited to accruals, journal entries, and cash flow management.
Enter purchase requisition requests.
Serve as the department liaison for purchase order modifications; track and reconcile vendor invoices and payments.
Coordinate park access for contractors.
Prepare and maintain confidential company information.
Provide administrative support for the department.
Seek to obtain and purchase all goods and services at the lowest possible total end-user cost considering the guidelines of quality, delivery, service, and price.
Work in a team environment and interact with operational units and vendors in a professional manner.
Represent the buying organization as an agent.
Perform other duties as assigned.
At least 18 years of age.
1 year of experience in a structured purchasing environment.
3 years of progressive experience in financial and coordination responsibilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to read, write, and speak English.
Strong analytical and advanced mathematical skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Intermediate computer skills; proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP.
Able to effectively present information in medium-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Able to effectively and accurately communicate requirements to team members.
Able to understand and interpret various forms of information (written and verbal) and make considered decisions.
Must be detail oriented.
Able to maintain a professional image at all times.
Able to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information.
Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
Able to work under general supervision.
Willingness and motivation to learn and use new techniques.
Knowledge of purchasing processes and buying techniques, including price/term negotiation skills.

Compensation: 21.00 USD per hour
