Leidos Health & Civil Sector is seeking a highly motivated and experience Deputy Program Manager to join our team. This position supports a government contract supporting military members and their families by providing nurse triage services, self-care advice, and general health inquiries 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The contract provides customer service and care coordination services to include provider locator support, specified Military Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) appointing services, Active Duty Service Member urgent care referral submissions, and customized MTF transfers to support the MTF’s capability.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
Assist the PM in managing the contract and acts on behalf of the PM in their absence with the same contractor authority.
Responsible for planning, day-to-day management, and decision making in support of this program to meet the Government goals and objectives.
Collaborates with stakeholders to ensure the efficient delivery of high-quality services, maintaining patient care standards, and adhering to healthcare regulations and certifications.
Operational oversight and team leadership, including supervising nursing and call center program managers, ensuring consistent service delivery, disseminating policy and protocol changes, and reviewing service metrics.
Supports the QA, RN and CC PMs in oversight of operational clinical and quality assurance responsibilities, such as reviewing and collaborating on quality improvement initiatives, and monitoring telehealth program activities to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable plans.
Assists the Sr PM in refining policies and procedures, identifying and mitigating risk, collaborating with service line program managers to monitor division performance, overseeing subcontract relationships to ensure compliance and efficiency, and maintaining stakeholder relationships to ensure high levels of patient and provider satisfaction.
Assists in working with the IT Manager to develop nurse triage innovative solutions for program improvement and recommending strategies to enhance efficiencies and customer satisfaction.
Works with division PMs to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA privacy rules, incident response, and established protocols.
Serves as a vital link between leadership and frontline management staff, driving operational excellence, clinical quality, and innovation while fostering stakeholder satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare management, business administration, communication, IT, Social Science, or related Field.
Must have current licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Minimum of 8 years’ project or program management experience including 5 years of nursing leadership/ supervisory role(s).
Clinical supervision and quality assurance experience required.
Must possess demonstrated strong communication, project management and customer service skills in past positions.
Must be a U.S. citizen and speak fluent English.
Ability to pass a criminal history, fingerprint background checks, and credential review/verification.
This position is a remote position and requires a quiet, private, confidential space to work from as well as having access to your own reliable high-speed internet hard wired to your home or apartment (coax or fiber from the Internet Service Provider (ISP) to your home. Using a hot spot from a mobile device (tethering) or wireless ISP is not acceptable.
