DEPUTY PROGRAM MANAGER

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Deputy Program Manager, the work you’ll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of U.S. Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM). You will play a crucial role in the design, development, engineering, integration, and technical and operational support to employ specified NIPRNET, SIPRNET, and Deployed Forces (DF) portion of the Department of Defense Information Network (DODIN).
● Lead/Manage/Support ***primary responsibility and the role’s impact on the mission***
● Collaborate with resource managers/supervisors to ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received; vendors, subcontractors, and other agencies as the primary client liaison; and the Government client to assist in synchronizing requirements throughout the project lifecycle within cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
● Drive project success and mission effectiveness by developing technical project plans, proposals, and reports, conducting planning, and providing recommendations on task workload. The role resolves challenges by assisting the Government in synchronizing requirements and identifying any issues in project meetings to maintain adherence to cost, schedule, and performance.
● Utilize an in-depth understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, and operational constructs; expertise in DoD and Army Cybersecurity Policies (e.g., AR 25-2, AR 25-1); and proficiency in Change Management processes.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Deputy Program Manager must have:
● Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science (Masters preferred)
● Experience: 10 – 15 years experience in the information technology field
● Technical skills: Current understanding of Army Enterprise LWN capabilities, tools, and operational constructs; working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Project, and Microsoft Visio.
● Security clearance level: Secret
● US citizenship required
● Role requirements: DoD 8570.1-M IAT Level II Certification. ITIL® v4 Foundation Certification. PMP certification desired. This role is a full-time position located at Fort Huachuca, AZ
