Job Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Technical Solutioning & Architecture Design
Lead the end-to-end technical solution design for proposals involving AFCS, electronic ticketing systems, AVL systems, and tolling platforms
Develop detailed solution architectures, system sizing, integration frameworks, and technical diagrams. Design cloud-ready, scalable, and interoperable ITS solutions aligned with client specifications.
2. Documentation & Proposal Support
Prepare, review, and finalize technical documentation, including-
Solution Architecture Document
Functional & Technical Specifications
Integration & Data Flow Diagrams
Compliance Matrices
Deployment & Migration Plans
Provide high-quality technical input for RFP/RFQ responses and bid submissions.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with engineering, product, and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility, cost accuracy, and alignment with product capabilities.
Collaborate with cloud, network, and cybersecurity teams to ensure infrastructure readiness and compliance with tender requirements.
4. Client Engagement & Technical Presentations
Engage with clients for requirement understanding, technical workshops, and solution walkthroughs.
Present proposed architecture, features, and system capabilities confidently to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Address client queries, clarifications, and compliance gaps during the bid cycle.
5. Standards, Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to relevant industry standards, government guidelines, and regulatory frameworks for ITS and AFCS solutions.
Validate interoperability and security compliance across all system components.
Ensure the solution remains cost-optimized while maintaining technical robustness.
6. Market Intelligence & Innovation
Continuously track market trends, new technologies, and advancements in fare collection, tolling, ticketing media, mobility as a service (MaaS), and cloud deployments.
Recommend enhancements and innovative features for strengthening solution competitiveness.
Skills:
Proven experience (8–10 years) in presales, solution design, or technical consulting within ITS, AFCS, tolling, or transit solutions.
Strong knowledge of:
Electronic fare media (QR, NFC, smartcards, EMV)
Back-office & clearing systems
Real-time and batch integration mechanisms
Device-level interfaces and protocols
Strong understanding of Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP), application hosting models, network architecture, cybersecurity standards, and IT infrastructure requirements in public tenders.
Ability to produce high-quality technical documents, workflows, diagrams, and system blueprints.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with government, PSU, transport authorities, or large public-sector projects is an added advantage.
Experience:
8-15 Years
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related field.
Master’s degree or specialized certifications in cloud technologies or networking (preferred).
