Position Summary
The Learning Content Design & Curation role is responsible for enabling high-quality, learner-centric capability building through the design, curation, and continuous optimisation of skills-based learning pathways within the L&D ecosystem.
This role will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of learning content across platforms, ensuring alignment with enterprise learning standards, governance, and business priorities. Working closely with Skills & Learning Consultants, Content Development, and Learning Operations teams, the incumbent will ensure that learning pathways are relevant, accessible, and drive measurable learner adoption and performance outcomes.
The role requires a strong balance of instructional design, content curation expertise, and data-driven decision-making, with a focus on enhancing employee experience and maximizing the value of enterprise learning platforms (e.g., learning experience platforms (LXP) and related learning systems such as Degreed or similar).
The incumbent is expected to demonstrate a high degree of ownership and accountability, leading end-to-end delivery of learning solutions from needs identification through deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Pathway Design & Content Curation
Design, curate, and maintain skills-based learning pathways aligned to enterprise capability frameworks and business priorities.
Manage a pool of resources supporting content curation and pathway development across learning experience platforms (LXP) and related learning systems.
Ensure all learning pathways integrate high-quality internal and external content, optimized for discoverability and learner engagement.
Partner closely with Skills & Learning Consultants to diagnose learning needs and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
Content Lifecycle Management
Oversee end-to-end content curation, creation, and maintenance across all learning platforms.
Collaborate with Content Development teams to ensure consistency, quality, and alignment with enterprise standards.
Continuously update and optimize content and pathways based on evolving business needs and learner feedback.
Ensure adherence to accessibility, usability, and content quality standards.
Governance, Standards & Delivery Excellence
Ensure compliance with defined learning standards, governance frameworks, and reporting requirements.
Establish and manage structured workflows, including intake, review, and deployment processes aligned to defined SLAs.
Own end-to-end delivery of learning pathways, coordinating across curation, content creation, and pathway build teams to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
Ensure turnaround timelines (e.g., defined SLA cycles) are met and communicated effectively to stakeholders.
Take accountability for delivery outcomes, ensuring alignment to defined SLAs, quality standards, and business impact.
Learner Experience & Design Excellence
Embed learner-centric design principles, keeping employee experience at the core of all learning solutions.
Leverage design thinking methodologies to enhance usability, engagement, and effectiveness of learning journeys.
Gather and incorporate learner feedback through established processes (e.g., 5Di framework) to continuously improve learning experiences.
Data Analytics & Insight-Driven Decision Making
Monitor learning adoption metrics, engagement data, and user feedback to assess effectiveness.
Use data insights to identify capability gaps, diagnose learning needs, and inform solution design.
Provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders to improve learning outcomes and user experience.
Support reporting and performance tracking to enable data-driven L&D decisions.
Platform & Technology Utilization
Leverage LMS/LXP platforms (e.g., Degreed or similar) to design, deploy, and manage learning pathways.
Optimize content structuring, tagging, and user journeys within learning platforms.
Stay updated on emerging trends in digital learning, including the use of AI in L&D.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Business, or related discipline)
Minimum 5 yrs of experience in Learning & Development, instructional design, or content curation roles
Experience managing or contributing to learning pathways or structured learning programs
Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with LMS/LXP platforms such as Degreed or similar tools
Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
Experience in content curation and learning ecosystem management
Familiarity with content creation tools (e.g., Articulate, Synthesia, or similar)
Experience applying design thinking in learning or user experience contexts
Exposure to digital learning innovations, including AI-enabled learning solutions
Experience working in global, matrixed environments
