The Deputy Head of Influencer Marketing will play a critical role in transforming and scaling our social-first influencer marketing business. Acting as the strategic right hand to the Head of Influencer Marketing. This role drives business performance, strengthens client leadership, elevates operational excellence, and leads a 30-40 member team to deliver high-impact work across social outreach and our influencer ecosystem
What You Will Do
Business Acumen & P&L Management
Work with the Head of Department to manage the Department P&L, ensuring strong revenue growth and sustainable profit margins.
Own key business drivers: revenue & GP streams, cost structures, pricing logic, and profitability optimization, while actively participating in account decisions.
Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic planning and business forecasting.
Support the Head in evaluating campaign and account financials to improve profitability and unlock new growth opportunities
Contribute to shaping division-wide strategy, business scaling, and long-term growth roadmap
Client Partnership
Serve as the senior lead for strategic, high-impact clients, driving long-term partnerships and business expansion.
Lead strategic conversations, QBRs and long-term planning sessions with clients.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, collaborating with BD/Sales teams to grow account revenue
Ensure best-in-class client service grounded in influencer, social, and digital marketing excellence
Operation Excellence & Team Development
Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient, high-quality, and scalable execution across influencer workflows
Implement SOPs, tools, automation, and productivity frameworks to raise operational maturity
Lead, inspire, and develop teams with the skills, mindset, and capabilities needed for high performance
Identify skill gaps and drive training initiatives to elevate team expertise and output quality
Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and strong execution standards
Develop and implement strategies to align with the division’s goals and business objectives in collaboration with senior management.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Partner with Creative, Strategy, Media, Operations, Finance, Sales/BD, and Product/Tech teams to build integrated and scalable business solutions
Strengthen internal alignment to scale the influencer ecosystem and maximize campaign performance
Performance Tracking & Reporting
Working with the Head of Dept to monitor team KPIs, campaign performance, and department-wide efficiency metrics.
Present insights, reports, and improvement plans to senior leadership.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree required.
8+ years of experience in advertising, influencer marketing, digital marketing, or social platforms; at least 4 years in a leadership role.
Strong background in influencer marketing, social outreach, or digital-led brand building
Proven ability to lead and develop teams of 30+ members
Strong strategic vision with the ability to transform business direction and drive tangible growth
Advanced business judgment and financial acumen, with hands-on P&L management experience
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; English proficiency required.
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
Highly organized, decisive, fast-learning, and comfortable in a high-velocity environment.
A self-starter with a growth mindset and strong ownership.
