The primary purpose of this position is: to serve as the Deputy Director to maintain a safe, secure and operational Government Owned Contractor Operated (GOCO) infrastructure for the business campus as well as support of the industrial mission partners and customers to produce, modify, maintain and test weapons systems.

Qualifications: Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Occupational Series -- 0300 - 0399 - General Administrative, Clerical, and Office Services. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of specialized experience at the next lower broadband NH-03, equivalent to the next lower grade GS-13 or equivalent in other pay systems. Specialized experience includes planning work to be accomplished by subordinates, setting and adjusting short/long-term priorities, and prepareing schedules for completion of work. IDEAL CANDIDATE: An advanced Degree(s) such as a Master or Ph.D. is highly desired. Previous experience at installation, Numbered Air Force, MAJCOM or Headquarters Air Force is highly desired. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas: 1. Knowledge of complex and varied base operations support mission requirements for the Government-owned Contractor Operated industrial production plant as well as management/leadership/collaboration requirements to work in support of the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center Acquisition Environmental and Industrial Facilities Division's mission. 2. Knowledge of ground/industrial/aviation safety and physical security regulations, practices, and procedures in relation to the industrial production plant's protection. 3. Ability to plan, organize, and direct the industrial production plant's functions and mentor, motivate, and appraise the staff of an organization through subordinate supervisors. 4. Ability to analyze, plan, coordinate, and adjust work operations in support of the industrial production plant enterprise comprised of multiple mission partners, various organizational segments, defense contractors, federal, state, county and local city officials, union representatives and community groups to meet mission requirements and objectives within available resources. 5. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, develop professional presentations for senior leadership as well as deliver/brief higher headquarters, distinguished visitors to include community groups, key customers and coordinating officials. PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week. VOLUNTEER WORK EXPERIENCE: Refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service Programs (i.e., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student and social).
