You will oversee and drive the effective management and functions of Planning and Projects and Corporate Services to attain high levels of operational efficiency and effective governance in support of the division’s mission to enhance information discovery and optimise processes.

[What you will be working on]

  • Direct the team to analyse and identify process gaps and implement new initiatives to improve operational efficiency, as well as projects in areas supporting an optimised operation and achieving productivity, through process and system improvements.
  • Oversee the formulation and communication of policies and guidelines, as well as institute internal controls and systems, to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness, with a view to promoting good governance compliance and optimal management of resources.
  • Strategise and drive new initiatives and large-scale projects implementation. This includes co-ordination with internal customers, key stakeholders and appointed contractors, which encompass conceptualisation, planning, management, implementation and close-out of projects, with the emphasis on ensuring that projects achieved the targets and outcomes in terms of budget management, quality assurance, operational efficiency and governance compliance.
  • Oversee the management of contracts, vendors and project activities, including the effective deployment of manpower resources, project funding and cash flow management.
  • Oversee and drive the division’s work-planning and management reporting of the division’s performance. This includes setting appropriate performance and service standards and develop appropriate KPIs and Balanced Score Cards at the divisional and departmental levels to track and evaluate key performance areas and recommend appropriate remedial actions.
  • Oversee the division’s management and monitoring of corporate governance and statutory compliance, including audit and risk management.
  • Develop the division’s capabilities in data analytics to support planning and decision making in budgeting and resource optimisation.
  • Oversee and drive the effective management and functions of Corporate Services to provide effective administrative support, including the management of Finance and HR functions in the division.
  • Establish and forge close working relationship with internal customers, stakeholders and vendors/partners at the management level.
