Deployment Manager (f/m/d) Business Transformation

Tasks and Qualifications:

Your tasks:

  • As Deployment Manager (f/m/d), you are a core member of the KION Business Transformation (BT) Deployment Core Team, responsible for driving the successful roll-in of business processes and solutions in line with the overall transformation roadmap

  • You plan and manage country- and region-specific roll-ins, ensuring that global standards are implemented effectively while addressing local requirements. You take end-to-end accountability for key deployment phases, including UAT, Cut-Over, Go-Live and Hyper-Care, and ensure a stable transition into live operations

  • A central part of your role is close collaboration with country coordinators, stakeholders and local teams. You contribute with strong IT project management expertise and intercultural competence, enabling alignment and effective execution across diverse environments

  • You define and coordinate business readiness activities, including cut-over planning, contingency scenarios and mitigation measures. In addition, you actively manage risks, issues and deliverables, lead local workstream status meetings and handle escalations in a structured and transparent manner

  • You also ensure a smooth handover to the receiving organization after Go-Live, working closely with the core team to enable a successful Hyper-Care phase

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • You have a relevant academic degree in business administration, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable field, combined with at least five years of professional experience, ideally in industries such as automotive, production, logistics or similar environments

  • You bring solid experience in medium to large-scale change and IT/SAP transformation programs and a strong command of IT project management, including a deep understanding of common project methodologies. You are familiar with all key rollout phases, from testing (SIT/UAT) through cut-over and hyper-care, and you feel confident taking ownership in critical project situations

  • You work with established project management tools such as Jira, MS Project or Smartsheet, and ideally complement your experience with project management certifications like PMP or PRINCE2.

  • You communicate clearly and confidently, enjoy working in international and intercultural environments, and know how to motivate stakeholders and teams alike. With your growth mindset and high level of drive, you thrive in high-performance teams and keep complex initiatives moving forward effectively

  • You have professional working proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage. You are flexible when it comes to critical project phases and open to international travel depending on deployment needs (up to 60–80%).
