Join Collins Aerospace as a Deployment Coordinator within Test Equipment Services, where you will play a key role in ensuring critical test equipment is available, tracked, and deployed to support engineering and production operations across the enterprise. In this hands-on role, you will coordinate the movement, inventory, and availability of specialized test equipment used to support mission-critical aerospace and defense programs. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining accurate equipment records, supporting internal teams with equipment needs, and ensuring the right tools are in the right place at the right time.

As part of a fast-paced operations environment, you will collaborate with internal customers, procurement teams, and external service providers to coordinate equipment distribution, calibration, repair, and procurement activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both independently and collaboratively, balancing logistics, inventory management, and customer support responsibilities while helping maintain compliance with government property requirements and contractual obligations.

This role will be performed onsite in our Collins Aerospace location in Cedar Rapids, IA, with occasional day travel to other regional offsite Collins Aerospace locations.

What You Will Do:

  • Monitor, locate, and schedule the movement and control of test equipment while performing periodic inventories using internal systems to ensure equipment records remain accurate and up to date
  • Coordinate the retrieval and distribution of existing test equipment to internal customer locations based on operational demand
  • Support internal customers with the procurement of new and pre-owned test equipment, parts, and supplies as needed
  • Manage multiple equipment requests and priorities simultaneously while supporting a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate shipping activities for external calibration and repair services and partner with internal Procurement Specialists to ensure efficient processes and timely deliveries
  • Track Government Owned Property and maintain compliance with applicable government regulations and contractual obligations
  • Safely lift and move test equipment up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis; heavier equipment may occasionally require team assistance
  • Stand for extended periods and walk long distances throughout the facility, as the role requires frequent movement away from a desk environment

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Prior experience supporting operational, logistical, or organizational activities in a professional environment

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with personnel across multiple enterprise locations, as well as external customers, vendors, and auditors
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload priorities using established processes and system-generated reports
  • Familiarity with electronic test equipment or related instrumentation
  • Intermediate computer proficiency with the ability to learn and utilize specialized systems used within the Test Equipment Services organization
  • Experience working with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel between local buildings and regional offsite locations
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is preferred

The salary range for this role is 41,400 USD - 72,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
