1. Three years of desktop PC support or data analytical experience in enterprise computing.

1. Director of Computer Operations for the Department.
2. Develop policies and procedures within the department for confidentiality of records and data systems security.
3. Develop and update computer systems hardware and software to meet changing needs of strategic planning.
4. Develop data entry policies and procedures to assure completeness and correctness of information.
5. Develop and implement computerized tracking systems and produce tailored templates for retention reporting and outcomes research
6. Develop programs for specialized reports to support departmental needs, required standard reporting to State and National agencies, and to support grant applications, fundraising proposals and strategies, student and physician recruitment.
7. Provides Systems Management and Support: Assist staff with security clearance and systems training for data entry and management in the Department.
8. Develop and maintain a computer network for communication and operation for the Department.
9. Responsible for all hardware and software purchases for the Department. Determine appropriate
compatibility and functionality of equipment, maintain hardware and software inventory. Make budgetary recommendations.
10. Serve as the CSC (computer support contact) for the Department. Responsible for installing new hardware and software and train appropriate staff in systems usage and upgrades. Troubleshoot and fix hardware and software problems, diagnose and repair/replace equipment as appropriate.
11. Desktop Publishing and Graphics Design & Compliance: Responsible to see that staff in the
Department produce publications and materials in compliance with the WVU logo and WVUM corporate image standards.
12. Create layout and design of printed materials, i.e., ISBN books, magazines, tabloids.
13. Responsible for the accuracy, appropriateness and timeliness of social media information.
14. Produce graphic arts and camera-ready copy for publications and memorabilia.
17. Produce copy and photos for social media with coordinated Department messages.
18. Assist with planning, implementation and evaluation of events.
19. Support philanthropy efforts with prospect identification and cultivation with timely demographic and educational information.
