Job Description:
Sun Life embraces a hybrid work model that balances in-office collaboration with the flexibility of virtual work in the contiguous states plus AK.
**Candidates must be located in South Texas (Houston area) or the state of Louisiana.
The Opportunity:
In this role, you will represent our brand in the market. You will solve our clients’ needs through consultative and solution based selling, and build relationships with dental offices in your territory to identify, develop and negotiate sales opportunities. You will be responsible for the successful growth and maintenance of the dental network according to our goals and priorities.
How you will contribute:
Work with Senior Manager Network Development to create appropriate dental network growth strategies
Work in collaboration with the Sun Life sales organization to identify local network recruitment needs and maximize mutual opportunities
Attend monthly sales meetings and present updates as appropriate
Make visits to dental offices in territory through cold calls and appointments
Establish relationships with key administrators of new and participating group practices and audit dental group practice lists to identify additions, terminations and changes
Negotiate and re-negotiate provider fee schedules
Work with providers to resolve complaints and other issues as needed
What you will bring with you:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications
Experience working with a CRM (i.e. Salesforce) regularly
College Degree or related work experience
Highly motivated individual with proven ability to meet goals
Willingness to travel for business as needed (position requires 25-50% travel)
Proven track record in sales and / or Provider Relations
Dental Industry / Insurance background is preferred but not required
Salary:
Salary Range: $70,600 - $105,900
