About Us
At SentinelOne, we’re redefining cybersecurity by pushing the limits of what’s possible—leveraging AI-powered, data-driven innovation to stay ahead of tomorrow’s threats.
From building industry-leading products to cultivating an exceptional company culture, our core values guide everything we do. We’re looking for passionate individuals who thrive in collaborative environments and are eager to drive impact. If you’re excited about solving complex challenges in bold, innovative ways, we’d love to connect with you.
What are we looking for?
Join a small, high-impact team of engineers operating at a global scale, responsible for developing and maintaining the tools that our Solutions Engineers and Partner Solutions Engineers use every day to demonstrate the SentinelOne platform. These are in-house tools that we build as new needs are identified from the field, across all regions, including:
- Our unified data replay platform
- Our CTF and game platform (as seen with the Threat Hunting World Championship in 2025)
- New demo capabilities, including a centralized view-only demo environment and a per-user VMware lab platform
This role is well-suited to engineers who thrive in a fast‑moving environment, are comfortable getting deeply hands-on with code, embrace learning and applying new technologies, and want to operate at the intersection of software engineering and cybersecurity in close partnership with field teams.
What will you do?
As an engineer on our team, you will:
- Help design and build enterprise‑grade demonstration environments using cloud services, DevOps practices, and virtualization technologies
- Develop new features for existing high-demand replay and demo tools
- Implement backend services (primarily in Python and Go) and APIs
- Triage and fix bugs, improve logging and observability, and continuously harden the reliability of our demo and game platforms
- Collaborate across multiple engineering teams (product, cloud, data, security) to design and build new demonstration tools and content that integrate into SentinelOne’s industry‑leading platform
- Innovate new ways for the field to show the value of SentinelOne – from museum‑tour demos to interactive games and scenario‑driven workflows
We are a small team with a very direct impact on how successful SentinelOne is in the market. The tools you build will be front and center in customer meetings, events, and large-scale programs.
What skills and experience should you bring?
We are looking for exceptional engineers who are passionate about delivering great tools to our Solutions Engineering organization. To that end, we are looking for engineers with the following:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent), ideally in backend or platform‑focused roles
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field; additional or directly relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Strong backend development experience in Python, Go, and/or NodeJS
Experience building and consuming APIs (HTTP/REST, gRPC, GraphQL)
- Experience working with containerization (Docker)
- Experience developing and deploying scalable web applications and services, orchestrating software releases, and delivering highly reliable systems
- Comfortable working independently with minimal direction, while collaborating effectively with distributed engineering and field teams
- Background or strong interest in computer security
Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
- Protobuf
- SQL databases (SQLite or MariaDB)
- One or more major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Load balancers / reverse proxies (Nginx, Traefik)
- Virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V)
You do not need all of these to apply, but you should recognize yourself in several of them and be eager to learn the rest.
