Demo Engineering Lead – Commercial Organization
At FIS, our technology and our people are moving forward. We advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. We believe in building inclusive, diverse teams. Together, we innovate to help our colleagues, clients and communities succeed. If you’re ready to grow your career and make an impact in fintech, we have one question: Are you FIS?
About the role:
Are you ready to be at the forefront of reshaping how financial technology is experienced, understood, and sold to the world’s largest financial institutions? At FIS, we’re looking for a high-impact Enterprise Demo Leader to join our Revenue Operations, Commercial Office, responsible for elevating how our products come to life across the enterprise sales cycle.
In this highly visible role, you will own the end-to-end enterprise demo function, transforming complex fintech platforms into compelling, client-ready narratives delivered through live demos, interactive walkthroughs, and high-fidelity prototypes. Your work will directly influence pipeline velocity, deal outcomes, and executive perception across issuing, payments, and banking solutions.
You will partner closely with Product Management, Solution Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Data & ClientIQ teams to ensure demos reflect the latest roadmap, competitive positioning, and quantified business value. This is not a passive support role—you are empowered to define demo strategy, set quality standards, act as the connective tissue between product capability and client value realization and deploy AI capabilities to improve our Demo building productivity and client experience.
We’re seeking a proactive self-starter who thrives amidst multiple cross-functional stakeholders and varying priorities. If you’re excited by the challenge of building the Demo backbone for client innovation, enabling impactful solutions, and driving success across the global fintech landscape, FIS invites you to make your mark here.
The Ideal Candidate combines the structured thinking and analytical discipline of a consulting background with the creative instinct and hustle of a startup operator. You are someone who can build a board-ready narrative in the morning, troubleshoot a sandbox environment over lunch, and run a flawless live demo for a Fortune 500 bank in the afternoon. You are energized by variety, thrive on ownership, and take genuine pride in the craft of making complex technology feel simple and compelling.
You are socially sharp, you read the room, adapt your delivery, and build trust quickly across cultures and seniority levels. You have high standards for your own output and a bias toward action over perfection.
What you will be doing:
Demo Strategy & Execution
- Own the enterprise demo lifecycle from scoping and storyline design through delivery and post-demo analysis for FIS’s issuing, payments, and banking solutions.
- Build and maintain a library of reusable, modular demo assets (environments, scripts, recordings, interactive prototypes) tailored to key verticals and buyer personas.
- Lead live demos for strategic prospects and existing clients during sales cycles, QBRs, conferences (e.g., Emerald 2026), and executive briefings.
- Develop demo scoring frameworks to measure effectiveness and iterate continuously based on win/loss data and client feedback.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product Management, Solution Engineering, and Marketing to ensure demos reflect the latest roadmap, competitive positioning, and value propositions.
- Work with the ClientIQ and data analytics teams to embed data-driven narratives (e.g., ROTCE impact, portfolio performance benchmarks) into demo storylines.
- Serve as a feedback conduit from the field back to Product, surfacing UX gaps, feature requests, and competitive intelligence gathered during client-facing demos.
- Coordinate with US-based sales leadership and solution architects, requiring strong cross-timezone communication discipline.
Technical & Creative Production
- Design high-fidelity demo environments and click-through prototypes using tools such as Figma, Synthesia, Coast, Tiled, or similar platforms.
- Develop lightweight sandbox and simulation environments where feasible, partnering with engineering for API integrations and test data management.
- Produce polished demo recordings, explainer videos, and visual leave-behinds for asynchronous deal support.
Project Management & Operations
- Manage the demo request pipeline end-to-end: intake, prioritization, resource allocation, and delivery tracking via CRM (Salesforce).
- Build and maintain a demo operations playbook covering intake workflows, SLA targets, escalation paths, and quality standards.
- Track and report on demo activity, conversion metrics, and pipeline influence to Revenue Operations leadership.
What you will need:
- Experience: 6–10 years in B2B enterprise environments, with at least 3 years in a demo, presales, solution consulting, or sales enablement capacity. Financial services or fintech experience is strongly preferred.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field. MBA or postgraduate qualification is a plus.
- Enterprise Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of complex, multi-stakeholder B2B sales cycles with 6–18 month timelines. Comfortable presenting to C-suite and senior banking executives.
- Technical Fluency: Strong conceptual understanding of APIs, data platforms, SaaS architecture, and payments/banking technology. You don’t need to write production code, but you should be able to read an API spec, understand data flows, and have informed conversations with engineers.
- AI Proficiency: Enthusiastic about and experienced in transforming demo and sales functions by utilizing AI technology.
- Analytical Rigor: Ability to translate product capabilities into quantified business impact narratives (e.g., basis points of ROTCE improvement, transaction cost reduction, processing time savings).
- Communication & Presence: Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English. Polished, confident, and articulate in high-stakes client settings. Able to simplify complexity without dumbing it down.
- Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities. Structured thinker with strong organizational habits and attention to detail.
- Self-Driven: Thrives in environments with high ambiguity and limited handholding. Takes ownership of outcomes, proactively identifies gaps, and drives initiatives to completion without waiting for direction.
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Prior experience working with US or global teams, ideally within American-headquartered companies. Comfortable operating across time zones and adapting communication style for Western business norms.
What you should have:
- Background in management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Big 4 strategy, or similar) with exposure to financial services engagements.
- Hands-on experience with demo and prototyping tools such as Figma, Navattic, Consensus, Walnut, Reprise, or Demostack.
- Familiarity with Salesforce (especially CPQ or demo request workflows), Tableau, or BI/analytics platforms.
- Experience with AI-enabled sales tools (e.g., Salesforce Einstein, Gong, Clari) and comfort incorporating AI/ML narratives into demos.
- Exposure to payments processing, card issuing, core banking, or treasury/capital markets technology.
- Strong visual design sensibility—an eye for layouts, typography, and data visualization that elevates demo materials above the industry standard.
- Certifications in project management (PMP, Agile/Scrum) or presales methodologies (Demo2Win, Great Demo!).
- Experience building or managing a small team of demo specialists or presales associates.
What we offer you:
First 90 Days:
- Complete immersion into FIS’s product portfolio, key verticals, competitive landscape, and active pipeline.
- Audit and catalogue existing demo assets; identify gaps and quick wins.
- Deliver at least two client-facing demos with strong internal feedback.
- Establish a working relationship with Product, Solution Engineering, and US-based sales leadership.
First Year:
- Demo operations playbook published and adopted across the Commercial Office.
- Measurable improvement in demo-to-opportunity conversion rates and average deal velocity for demo-assisted opportunities.
- Modular demo library covering 80%+ of top-priority product/vertical combinations.
- Recognized internally as the go-to authority on how FIS shows up in client-facing product experiences.

At FIS, we are as committed to growing our employees’ careers as our own business. We offer:
- Opportunities to innovate in fintech
- Inclusive and diverse team atmosphere
- Professional and personal development
- Resources to contribute to your community
