Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa is seeking a dedicated and passionate Demi Chef de Partie (Staff Canteen) to join our culinary team. We are looking for an individual who embraces our commitment to excellence and is driven to create memorable experiences for our guests and colleagues alike. In this role, you will contribute to a vibrant, multicultural team known for delivering award‑winning service. 

A Maldivian work permit will be provided by the resort if required.

What You Will Do

  • Support daily food production in the staff canteen, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Prepare mise en place and maintain a fully organized workstation before each service.
  • Cook and prepare food hygienically, efficiently, and according to standard recipes.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, temperature, presentation, and portioning.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, food safety, and proper storage.
  • Assist with food requisitions and the preparation of daily market lists.
  • Work across various preparation areas as required to support the team.
  • Participate in daily briefings and scheduled training sessions.
  • Provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Step in to assist colleagues during busy periods and demonstrate a hands‑on attitude.
  • Uphold grooming, hygiene, and code‑of‑conduct standards at all times.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

What you bring

  • 3-4 years of experience in 5-star hotels or resorts, with a solid foundation in hospitality.
  • Strong command of English, along with solid mathematical and psychometric abilities.
  • Demonstrated aptitude, positive attitude, and potential for career growth.
  • Technical Education in Hospitality or Culinary Arts would be an added advantage.

Schedule & Hours:

  • This is a full time position
  • 48 hours a week with one day off
