Demand Planner

The Demand Planner will: 

• Prepare and generate demand planning forecast estimation for portfolio assigned, analysing historical data, incorporating all the insights received from cross functional team, through enrichment
• Work inside Demand Planning Team, with other Demand Planning team members; Teamwork skills are very important to deliver process and results as a team. Need to be collaborative, share best practice, help when needed and open mindset.
• Deliver and assure perfect execution of the Global demand planning process in the Group; need to deliver a quality monthly demand plan following timing.
• Understand Demand Plan changes, be able to explain main deviation to facilitate and understand value impact.
• Spearhead and manage in timely manner rigorous Integrated Business Demand Planning Processes and Forecast analysis, based on econometric-statistical modelling, considering historical data, market seasonality and with special focus on new Product introductions and phased out products
• Lead country forecast monthly meetings. Build internal network. Harmonize best practice and elevate forecast capabilities across the countries. Be able to challenge numbers when needed and to get into full team agreements.We manage different countries so important to adapt and enjoy working in multicultural teams.
• Lead with diligence implementation of new ERP (Oracle Cloud) in Demand side, ensuring optimal parametrization and maintenance, that eliminate manual processes and reduce errors, and support countries in the implementation. Also participate of all the new projects linked to the ERP for the best execution.         
• Need to understand and manage long portfolio. Assist in demand planning and management activities of company products.
• Make forecast adjustments based on seasonal products, promotions and discounts.
• Participate in Budget process from Demand Planning site. Give information needed to deliver Budget in the company. Also support inventory management process.
• Perform market analysis and determine customer demands.
• Identify and escalate complex demand issues to management for immediate resolutions.
• Drive results: act firmly to improve KPIs, mainly forecast accuracy, analysis results, perform root cause analysis to deliver action plan and provide permanent resolutions.

Experience and Qualifications

The Demand Planner is a critical function at Verisure, working closely with the 17th Countries, Planners Buyers and Finance teams to ensure forecasting accuracy and streamlined forecasting processes. This is a highly visible and cross-functional role with an outsized impact. This role will report to the Global Demand Planning Manager.   

Managing ambiguity in fast pace and complex cross-functional environment managing significant amounts of change and being able to influence peers and Senior leaders.

Skills required 

• Fluent written and spoken English (C1)
• Professional with minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience
• Strong demand planning background with commercial understanding and great analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills, Power BI, and planning tools
• Access and Business Intelligence knowledge would be recommended
• ORACLE knowledge would be a plus
