As a Demand Planner II, you will play a critical role at the intersection of commercial strategy and operational execution. By translating market insights into actionable supply chain plans, you will directly support reliable product availability, optimize inventory, and help enable therapies that improve and save lives.
Develop and manage 24-month demand plans for assigned product portfolios
Lead and support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) demand review processes
Facilitate demand review meetings with cross-functional stakeholders
Analyze historical data, market trends, and business intelligence to create accurate forecasts
Collaborate closely with Commercial, Product Management, Finance, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams
Improve forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Optimize inventory levels while reducing excess and obsolescence risk
Utilize advanced forecasting tools and analytics platforms to support decision-making
Support efficient production planning and customer fulfillment
Education
Bachelor’s degree required
Preferred fields of study: Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline
Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in demand planning or supply chain management
Experience with S&OP processes and inventory management
Experience working in cross-functional, matrix organizations
Experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, or medical device industries preferred
Experience applying Lean business practices and continuous improvement methodologies
Certifications (Preferred)
APICS certification preferred
CSCMP or comparable supply chain certification a plus
Knowledge
Strong understanding of demand planning, forecasting methodologies, and inventory optimization
Familiarity with pharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments preferred
Skills
Proficiency in demand planning systems such as SAP, Forecast Pro, Kinaxis, or similar tools
Advanced analytical skills, including statistical modeling and forecasting techniques
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Experience with business intelligence tools such as Power BI
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to senior leadership
Abilities
Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations
Strong problem-solving skills with a data-driven decision-making approach
Ability to effectively collaborate across multiple functions and influence stakeholders
Primarily office-based role within a manufacturing and development site
May require occasional presence in production or warehouse areas
