Your Role
In your daily job you will:
1. Customer Demand Management:
- Receive and validate customer demand forecasts/orders
- Maintain proactive daily communication with customers to understand true demand signals and upcoming requirements.
- Capture and document changes in forecasts, orders, or delivery expectations in real time.
- Provide customers with regular updates on order status and potential risks.
- Escalate urgent issues to management with recommended actions to prevent "customer line-down" situations.
2. Production Coordination and Shipment Readiness:
- Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, warehouse to develop backup plans for high-risk orders.
- Verify product availability against shipment schedules
- Coordinate with logistics for timely pick-up and delivery
- Communicate shipment confirmations to customers
3. Performance Monitoring:
- Track OTIF (On-Time-In-Full) metrics; Identify and resolve fulfillment bottlenecks
Key Skills
- Relationship Management: Ability to build trust with customers for transparent demand sharing.
- Risk Assessment: Experience in identifying and mitigating supply chain disruptions.
- Crisis Communication: Skilled in managing urgent requests without overpromising.
Your Background
Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:
- Bachelor degree, fluent in both written and verbal English
- Experience in production planning or demand fulfillment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and advanced Excel (e.g. pivot tables).
- Good team player and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines
