Collins Aerospace is seeking results driven Demand Planner and Inventory Analyst, Aftermarket to join our team in Chula Vista, CA. This onsite role plays a critical part in optimizing inventory strategies and driving supply chain efficiency across multiple product lines. You will transform sales data into actionable insights that align inventory performance with service level and profitability goals. What You Will Do:  

  • You will work onsite at our Chula Vista facility. 

  • Manage planning strategies and ERP requirements across various Aftermarket product lines to achieve 96% on-time delivery. 

  • Ensure inventory and service level targets are met. 

  • Manage inventory, demand planning, and various business processes associated with a program. 

  • Extract and analyze datasets to generate reports that support analytical requirements and drive strategic decisions 

  • Optimize part segmentation to ensure alignment to inventory, service levels, and profitability objectives. 

  • Analyze and review demand patterns, product lifecycle, and available market intelligence. 

  • Possess ability to display complex data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner. 

  • Communicate effectively with other Aftermarket groups, Supply Chain and Manufacturing Sites 

  • Utilize PowerBI, Tableau, Microsoft Excel or other similar tools to develop analytics and visualization 

  • Travel up to 5%. 

Must Have Qualifications: 

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience in demand planning or an Advanced Degree in a related field  

  • Experience with ERP planning  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Degree in Statistics, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or related fields. 

  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems. 

  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma or ACE. 

  • Experience with demand planning, service level and inventory optimization with intermittent historical demand 

  • Experience with statistical forecasting and forecast accuracy measurement.

  • Inventory forecasting and reduction initiatives, In-depth knowledge of demand planning and make-to-stock strategies, dashboard and point-of-use tool creation.

The salary range for this role is 72,000 USD - 144,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
