Demand Analytics Manager

Pakistan - Sindh - Karachi Full time

Job Purpose

The Demand Analytics manager provides specialized services related to creation of analytics (tools/system) and intelligence for activities related to Integrated Business Planning (IBP). This role is responsible for driving improvements in demand analytics activities securing as a result improved customer service and lower working capital.

Education, Experience & Skills

  • University Graduate MBA/Master in relevant field is preferred Statistics, Analytics, Supply Chain, Demand management

  • 6-9 years of experience in Supply Chain preferably in Demand planning and S&OP process. Experience of multiple business cycle in Commercial operations/ Supply chain / Demand forecasting, ideally in a pharmaceutical environment

  • Team management and people development experience preferred.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English

  • Highly numerate and good knowledge of supply chain systems and processes

  • Experience in statistical and Analytical tools like, Power BI /Advance Excel

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely execution of standard work activities which feeds into the key Integrated Business Planning (IBP) meetings including Demand Review, feeding through to Supply Review and regional S&OP meetings

  • Interface with supporting Network to ensure standard data source/tool is in use by all stakeholders and ensure data consistency between all system

  • Drive automation, tools standardization, develop Power BI/excel tools in alignment with global standard to improve ways of working

  • Prioritize and manage reporting / analytics requests with CoE project & change manager

  • Develop close coordination with regional representatives for resolution of issues/escalations from markets/region to ensure smooth execution of activities

  • Coach and review development plans for the team and ensures it is aligned with GSK ambitions as well as personal career aspirations

  • Drive performance by contributing to strategic global and regional projects in close coordination with project & demand lead that will use demand forecasting as a lever to unlock further benefits in GSK's supply chain
