The Deli Team Member delivers exceptional service by preparing high‑quality deli products, maintaining fresh and appealing displays, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. This role will also provide support to the Bakery department as business needs arise, including product preparation, packaging, and guest service.

 

What will you be doing?

• Provide friendly, responsive service to all customers in the Deli and Bakery areas.

• Prepare, slice, weigh, package, and label deli products according to food safety and quality standards.

• Assist with Bakery tasks such as packaging baked goods, stocking displays, and preparing simple bakery items.

• Maintain product freshness by rotating stock, monitoring dates, and following proper storage procedures.

• Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and well‑organized throughout the shift.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and equipment‑handling guidelines.

• Support merchandising plans by setting cases, building displays, and ensuring attractive presentation.

• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, scales, fryers, and ovens safely and correctly.

• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders to ensure smooth department operations.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support overall store needs.
