Deja tu huella - Marketing & Medical Rare Diseases Intern
What do we offer?
To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. 11 months of internships at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.
You will have the opportunity to get on-the-job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attend in person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.
Our main location is Madrid, we are open to applications from all over Spain but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexibility) to enjoy the connection to our colleagues, network and get exposure.
Last but not least, you will have mentorship by a Roche tutor who will give you continuous feedback to develop your professional skills. The mentors for the program are Roche’s senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

What are the main responsibilities of a Rare Diseases Marketing & Medical intern?
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain cross-functional exposure within the Rare Diseases area, combining Medical and Marketing perspectives in a highly strategic and competitive environment.
The main objective of the internship is to support the design and implementation of the response plan to the anticipated launch of a new competitor indication in the Rare Diseases ecosystem.
The intern will collaborate closely with both the Medical Manager and Marketing Manager in the execution of the Integrated Commercialization Plan (ICP) 2026/27, contributing to strategic initiatives that support the positioning and competitiveness of Roche therapies.
Main responsibilities include:
Supporting the development and implementation of strategic response plans related to competitor launches within the Rare Diseases area.
Collaborating with Medical and Marketing teams in the execution and follow-up of the Integrated Commercialization Plan (ICP) 2026/27.
Supporting competitive intelligence activities, including monitoring competitor positioning, market dynamics, and emerging trends.
Assisting in the analysis of scientific, market, and customer insights to support strategic decision-making.
Collaborating in the preparation of presentations, strategic materials, and internal communication resources.
Supporting project management activities, timelines, prioritization, and coordination across different stakeholders.
Participating in cross-functional meetings and initiatives involving Medical, Marketing, and customer-facing teams.
Contributing to the implementation of tactical initiatives ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
Supporting the organization and follow-up of key strategic projects within the Rare Diseases ecosystem.
Throughout the internship, the candidate will gain exposure to pharmaceutical strategy, competitive market analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration within a highly innovative therapeutic area.
What are we looking for in this position?
Recent graduates or university students who will obtain their degree in the summer, preferably in Healthcare Sciences such as Pharmacy, Medicine, Genetics, Biotechnology, or related fields.
We are looking for proactive, organized, and collaborative candidates with strong interest in healthcare innovation, marketing strategy, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Desired skills and qualifications include:
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Interest in pharmaceutical marketing, medical strategy, and Rare Diseases.
Good project management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
Proactivity, creativity, and initiative.
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good time management and multitasking capabilities.
Previous experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments will be considered a plus.
Advanced level of English and Spanish.
Good knowledge of digital and collaborative tools.
Passion for improving patients’ lives and motivation to contribute in an innovative and challenging environment.
Commitment to dedicate yourself full time to the program from September 2026 to August 2027.
