The Position

Deja tu Huella - Local Evidence Generation Intern

What do we offer?

To be part of a new cohort of the Roche-CEU San Pablo postgraduate degree as an expert in the Pharmaceutical Industry. An 11-month internship at Roche where you will participate in challenging projects and benefit from pioneering postgraduate training in the market about the pharmaceutical industry.

You will have the opportunity to receive on-the-job training by working on key projects with your designated department from Monday to Thursday and attending in-person postgraduate classes at the university on Friday.

Our main location is Madrid. We are open to applications from all over Spain, but relocation will be needed as part of the program expectations. Office attendance is expected (with some flexibility) to enjoy connection with colleagues, networking opportunities, and exposure to the organization.

Last but not least, you will receive mentorship from a Roche tutor who will provide continuous feedback to support your professional development. The mentors for the program are Roche’s senior and experienced young talent development professionals.

Main responsibilities as an intern

Evidence Generation Projects

  • Collaborate in the management and coordination of evidence-generation studies (RWE/Medical Affairs) across different therapeutic areas.

  • Develop, validate, and execute tracking tools for evidence-generation activities.

  • Support the preparation of internal responses related to clinical research requests.

  • Assist in the optimization of operational processes, including coordination of outsourced activities with CROs and payment management workflows.

  • Maintain and update training materials, presentations, and internal documentation related to evidence generation.

  • Support operational tasks within the department, including database management and coordination with external stakeholders.
     

Artificial Intelligence & Digital Innovation

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of internal AI and digital tools that add value to evidence-generation projects.

  • Contribute to enhancing the use of Real-World Data (RWD) and AI resources to improve reporting and project visibility within the unit.

  • Participate in initiatives that strengthen collaboration with other departments such as Medical Affairs and Regulatory Affairs.

  • Assist in improving operational efficiency and knowledge-sharing processes through innovative digital solutions.

What are we looking for?

Education:

  • Graduates in Health Sciences or Life Sciences (preferred).

  • Training or experience in digital tools and Artificial Intelligence is highly valued.

  • Knowledge or experience in Data Management or Data Science is considered a plus.
     

Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Analytical and strategic mindset. Ability to multitask and manage different projects simultaneously. High level of digital literacy, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and generative AI tools.
 

Competencies: Creativity and innovation, Initiative and proactivity, Learning agility and adaptability to change, Commitment, enthusiasm, flexibility, and dynamism.

Mindset: Curious candidates willing to learn, grow, and challenge the status quo. Passion for innovation and improving patient outcomes. Motivation to contribute in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Languages: Advanced communication level in both English and Spanish.

Commitment: Full-time dedication from September 2026 to August 2027.

International students must have a valid NIE or work permit in Spain.
