You’ll partner closely with clients to identify opportunities for cost containment, improve driver compliance, and streamline processes, all while upholding Wheels’ rules of engagement and service standards. Through thoughtful analysis and consistent reporting, you’ll help clients understand the business impact of key decisions and secure alignment on opportunities for long-term value.

From managing performance metrics to facilitating meaningful conversations, your ability to plan ahead, act with ownership, and deliver results will drive client success and reinforce our shared commitment to excellence.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Analyze reporting to clients based on Statement of Work which will lead to policy adherence and ultimately cost containment. Manage “outliers” of the maintenance and fuel programs and communicate as necessary to senior management and drivers, including cost savings achieved.
  • Present with Fleet Consulting Executive (FCE) the Business Review to clients, including service goals, costs, cost reduction achieved, daily maintenance, including Statement of Work opportunities, and overall relationship management.
  • Identify and present new opportunities or additional products to clients.
  • Participate in new client activation for all clients assigned to portfolio.
  • Be proficient in and use extensively all systems including, but not limited to Salesforce, Fleetview, and P2P.
  • Manage assigned cases in Salesforce within established estimated completion dates (ECDs). Communicate status updates and final resolutions to clients.
  • Create or review/enhance and recommend fleet policy changes to improve administrative time and cost savings to represented clients.
  • Support the Fleet Consulting Executive in preparation for client QBR’s and SLA/KPI discussions.
  • Manage maintenance and accident repair approval in adherence to DFM client parameters, including decisions on repairs and rental vehicle approval.
  • Manage client inventory including driver assignments, moves and storage making decisions on behalf of client to provide best utilization of fleet vehicles at the lowest cost to client.
  • Manage vehicle depreciation structure to tie with vehicle usage and provide optimal vehicle replacement recommendations based on fleet policy.
  • Actively participate in corporate projects, i.e., Quality Improvement Process or Lean Process.
  • Provide analytical and exception reporting, as needed, focusing on life cycle cost analysis – acquisition, maintenance, fuel and vehicle remarketing drawing conclusions and making recommendations from findings.
  • Ensure data integrity for all billing and reports provided to clients.
  • Understand yearly goals for assigned clients and create and execute on an actionable plan to support the client in obtaining those goals as related to fleet management.
  • Ensure that departmental processes are designed and implemented in a way to mitigate operational risks / losses.
  • Demonstrate aptitude to relate fleet performance to future outcomes and be able to communicate your findings of the analysis of fleet performance to your client.
  • Actively contribute to client meetings and discussions.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Maintain confidentiality of received information.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Fleet Management experience.
  • Certified Automotive Fleet Manager (CAFM) certification desired.
  • Project management proficiency preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills, proficient in verbal and written communication.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required to manage client action items, milestones and analysis of costs.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Tableau desired.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS, PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work Environment: This hybrid position is located in Georgia or Illinois and operates in a professional office environment.
Position Type/Standard Schedule: This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
Travel: Up to 20%
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly speak, hear, and see, and operate a computer, keyboard, mouse, and phone. Sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Pay Range:

$70,400-$98,600

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is eligible to participate in the annual incentive plan which is based on company performance and individual performance. Compensation ranges are based on several factors including job function, level, and geographic location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including candidate experience, education, certifications, skill level and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed here.
