Decorative Projects Sales Manager

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

Join our strong Decorative team and lead our Decorative projects team. In this role you will manage the strategy and execution of Decorative Projects Sales across both existing and newly targeted customer segments and markets. Utilize Jotun’s sales tools, systems, and best-practice techniques to effectively plan, implement, and monitor sales activities and collection performance. The objective is to achieve assigned sales budgets, strengthen customer relationships, enhance profitability, and drive sustainable growth in market share.

This position is based at our head office in New Cairo and reports to the Head of Decorative Sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop decorative sales by identifying new business opportunities and collecting market research on trends and positioning to increase market share.

  • Plan, manage, and monitor sales objectives, Gross Margin, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), and payment collection through close follow-up and guidance to ensure sales targets, profitability, and market share growth.

  • Develop and execute long-term strategic plans and short-term tactical plans aligned with segment and regional strategies, leveraging local strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to maximize revenue and profit.

  • Establish and implement effective distribution strategies and programs by setting targets, selection criteria, and performance measures to maintain a strong, loyal, and efficient distribution network.

  • Monitor and follow up on the execution of agreed action plans and apply standard procedures, processes, and reporting to ensure consistent best practices across retail and project teams.

  • Organize, develop, motivate, and lead sales teams by setting clear targets, coaching, supporting, and monitoring performance in line with The Penguin Spirit, including conducting periodic reviews and feedback sessions (KIT and yPOD).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science.

  • 5 + years of experience in sales management of decorative paints for B2B.

  • Leadership experience is preferred.

  • Must be able to communicate fluently in English & Arabic.

  • Proven experience in people management and development.
