Make an impact 

Bridge Debt Strategies is seeking an Asset Management Associate to assist in the ongoing asset management of a portfolio of real estate debt investments and review and analyze property-level operating statements, rent rolls, and borrower reporting to evaluate loan performance, business plan execution, and credit trends. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Review, analyze, and process borrower requests including loan modifications, extension options, reserve and capital improvement draw requests, and property releases; prepare materials for senior management approval 

  • Prepare internal and external reporting packages, including quarterly business plan updates, annual investor reporting, CLO reporting, and internal performance reports 

  • Monitor and ensure that each loan is in compliance with loan covenants, cash management provisions, and reporting requirements as outlined in the loan documents 

  • Re-underwrite existing direct loan investments by gathering due diligence and proactively identifying any potential credit, market, or performance risks 

  • Coordinate loan onboarding and ongoing administration internally while working closely with third-party servicers 

  • Work closely with originations/deal teams, finance, legal, servicing, and additional third parties to ensure efficient loan management and compliance 

  • Conduct site inspections as needed 

What you should bring 

  • 2 to 5 years of experience in real estate asset management, lending, and/or finance 

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university 

  • Strong understanding of real estate cash flow modeling, valuation, and credit analysis across all property types 

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management abilities 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet competing deadlines 

  • Proven ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Compensation Details

The anticipated wage scale for candidates who will work in New York is $125,000-$200,000 per year. The hired applicant will also be eligible for an annual performance based discretionary bonus. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, etc. Bridge Investment Group is a multi-state employer and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations.

  • Paid Time Off: Employee will accrue 5.23 hours of paid time off per pay period for a total of 17 days per year.

  • Following six (6) months of employment at the Company, you will be eligible per birth, adoption or placement of a child for four (4) weeks of paid parental leave as the primary caregiver to the child or two weeks of paid parental leave as the secondary caregiver to the child. Following two years of employment at the Company, you will be eligible for twelve weeks of paid parental leave per birth, adoption, or placement of a child if you are the primary caregiver of the child.
  • Tuition Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per year of pre-approved tuition expenses will be reimbursed upon submission of approved documentation. Repayment obligations may apply if employment terminates prior to 24 months.
