As a Dealer Services Team Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between HUB and our dealership partners, driving service excellence, deepening business relationships, and leading a team of Mobile Auto Advisors who deliver exceptional insurance solutions at the point of sale. You will combine relationship management expertise with hands-on leadership to grow dealership partnerships and elevate team performance.

A day in the life -

  • Develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with dealership partners, acting as their primary point of contact for insurance programs and service needs.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Mobile Auto Advisors to achieve sales targets, dealership service level expectations, and high customer satisfaction.

  • Oversee daily operations including policy processing, renewals, and cancellations with expertise in ICBC Autoplan and private auto insurance based on ASD.

  • Lead by example in providing expert advice, cross-selling, upselling, and resolving complex client and dealership enquiries.

  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics including Replacement Coverage, Average Handling Time, dealership service levels, and customer satisfaction.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow existing dealership accounts and support the onboarding of new partners.

  • Ensure all team members adhere to ICBC ASD, insurer, and Insurance Council rules and regulations.

  • Support management with training, service improvements, and special projects as assigned.


What you will bring to our team -

  • Level 2 General Insurance License required

  • 2–7 years of experience in general insurance sales or brokerage, with leadership, mentoring, or account management experience

  • Strong knowledge of ICBC Autoplan, ASD, and private auto insurance products

  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships with external business partners, preferably in a dealership environment

  • Sales-driven mindset with a focus on cross-selling, upselling, and growing partner accounts

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt your approach across clients, dealership staff, and internal team members

  • Adaptable, reliable, and motivated with strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Office and spreadsheets; EPIC familiarity is an asset

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while balancing relationship management with team leadership responsibilities

Salary Expectations – 

The compensation for this position is a variable compensation structure, ie., salary plus commission.  As such, the total compensation earned will vary depending on the successful candidate’s book of business at a particular time.  The expected salary plus variable pay range for this position is $48,000.00 to $60,000.00 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
