The Deal Desk Analyst supports deal structuring and pricing analysis, ensuring alignment with company policies and pricing strategies. This position collaborates with sales and cross-functional teams to support deal reviews, contribute to pricing models, and maintain compliance through documented standards. The role involves conducting financial analysis, supporting dashboard development, and providing data-driven insights to improve operational efficiency.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
•    Analyze data to support deal structuring, ensuring compliance with company policies and guidelines
•    Support the review and maintenance of documented standards for compliant deals and the deal decision matrix
•    Collaborate with the Sales team on deal structuring and pricing, ensuring deals are aligned to guidelines, company policies, processes, and systems
•    Conduct analysis related to deal structures, pricing scenarios, and reporting. Apply growing domain knowledge to identify areas of improvement and provide in sights to support decision-making
•    Support the development and maintenance of pricing models which allow the Sales team to communicate deal terms throughout the organization and with customers
•    Develop knowledge and understanding of the opportunity-to-cash cycle, including operations, order processing, fulfillment, revenue recognition and legal contracts
•    Respond to internal stakeholder inquiries, resolving routine problems through research and consulting with internal support teams
•    Support multiple projects and deal types, ensuring timeliness and quality customer service
•    Collaborate with Sales Operations Analysts to support sales-specific functionality within nCino's internal Salesforce.com environment and assist with data cleansing efforts
•    Assist in tracking and analysis of key performance indicators and metrics for the sales organization
•    Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance work efficiency and optimize routine tasks by automating processes to improve accuracy, save time, and minimize errors
•    Utilize AI-driven insights to support decision-making and improve team productivity while ensuring measurable value
•    Stay informed on AI advancements to support continuous learning and professional development

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
•    Typically requires a minimum of 2+ years of related experience/ proficiency with an undergraduate degree
•    Analytical and problem-solving skills
•    Customer Service Oriented
•    Communication skills
•    Proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools


PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
•    Basic knowledge of SaaS business models
•    Exposure to Clari or similar sales tools
•    Familiarity with revenue recognition concepts
•    Project coordination experience

The pay range for this role is based on relative market data and alignment with our compensation philosophy. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum of the pay range for each job posting, which is used to determine new hire rates/salaries and takes into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, abilities, proficiencies, experience, education, licensures/certifications, as well as business and organizational needs. nCino reserves the right to modify the posted range consistent with our internal practices and external market movement. The recruiter for this job posting can share more compensation details during the recruitment process, as base salary is only one component of the total compensation package per position posted.

The base salary range for this job is:

$64,500.00 - $106,500.00
