As a DCS operator you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Energy

What you’ll be doing;
Operate and monitor plant from Central Control Room
Operate plant and equipment based on operational demands of the Biomass facility
Support Shift Team Leader with Health and Safety matters
Use Safe Systems of Work to ensure safety of personnel, contractors and visitors
Ensure compliance with site Environmental Permit
Provide technical supervision and assistance to company and contract staff
What we're looking for;
Experienced operator from Power station background
Completed recognised Power station Operational Apprenticeship/Training or recognised industry qualification
Broad experience in shift working in continuous process industry, preferably Waste Incineration environment
IOSH passport safely certificate or equivalent
Where you’ll work
You will be based in the main plant control room, where you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of a 54MW thermal water tube boiler and 17.45MWe turbine generator. The shift team comprises three operators working a continental shift pattern with rolling 10-day breaks.
Important Information
This position operates on a rotating continental shift pattern of 4 days on, 4 days off. The role requires availability to work weekends and Public Holidays as part of the shift rota to ensure continuous operation of the Energy Recovery Facility.
