Position Summary
The Database Analyst will be responsible for the development, execution and continuous measurable improvement of the department’s “database and related educational platforms. Analyze database needs and propose software solutions. Develops, designs, creates, maintains and backs up databases and applications, including data entry systems.
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for all assigned Database development strategy, generation and dissemination.
Designs and develops in-house relational database applications.
Assists management in designing database applications for initiatives and oversees the related data entry process as needed.
Assists in integrating the database with the program web server as needed.
Maintains database development, maintenance, performance evaluation and correction on databases ensuring proper operation, integrity and performance.
Assists in user support, training and documentation for applications development.
Actively tracks metrics and analyzes demand/satisfaction/outcomes associated with departmental Database initiative; manage assigned Databases and assist with custom surveys.
Inputs data, update records, run reports, in coordination with WUSTL colleagues.
Performs other duties as assigned.

This position will be fully remote and part-time working approximately 25 hours per week.

Salary Range
$53,100.00 - $90,600.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
