The Opportunity:
Join CACI as the prime contractor on a growing program supporting NAVSEA 03D3 Digital Program Office as a Database Administrator supporting the Navy Maintenance and Modernization Enterprise Solution (NMMES), a mission-critical program that supports over 45,000 users executing naval ship and submarine maintenance operations worldwide.
Responsibilities:
Architect, design, and oversee the development of computerized databases
Install databases onto appropriate computer operating systems
Create, configure, and manage databases for data warehousing applications
Create and maintain database objects including Indexes, Clusters, Snapshots, and Views
Manage Rollback Segments, Data File Size, and database performance tuning
Write code for update queries and maintain data dictionaries
Create and maintain data correction logs with detailed metadata
Expand and update data dictionaries for databases and related applications
Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
Perform database backup and recovery operations
Support both legacy and modern database systems
Collaborate with development teams on database design and requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
At least 3 years of experience in database administration
Strong knowledge of database management systems
Experience with database performance tuning
Proficiency in SQL and database scripting
Understanding of backup and recovery procedures
Desired:
Experience with DoD/Navy programs
Database certifications (Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server, etc.)
Knowledge of data modeling and database design
Experience with database security implementation
SAFe certification
Experience with cloud databases
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts
Understanding of database high availability solutions

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$63,300-$129,700
