The Role
We are looking for a Designer for our Graphics Team, focused on create Automotive mechanical and bodyshell parts illustrations.

Our main task in the Team is to create the representative graphics for each new and updated model in the market.

Is a cooperative and dynamic work with peers on other areas, who will provide us the information we will need for our job.

It is usual to work in several models at the same time and is not rare to interact with colleagues in other countries, mainly Italy; but also maybe US, UK or Mexico.

It will be trained on the applicability of required graphic tools in the diary work as designer; but also, on the other graphic tools developed by Solera.

We also give support to the international pictograms’ library, through its design and final adaptation to Company apps.

Additionally, the usual Team proactivity offer us options to collaborate in Projects not only owned by us; but belonging to other Centers or Departments.

 

What You’ll Do

· To demonstrate capability on learning how graphic tools are used on the Company and apply properly.

· To design the requested part and assemblies on the assigned vehicles, by collaborating with colleagues in the same Graphics Team and colleagues belonging on other departments.

· To design the requested illustrations inside the productive ratio the Team will require.

· To design the requested parts inside the maximum Quality ratio the Team will require

· To solve incidents related to the content of the graphic database.

· To learn about other company’s tools and to be able to offer to the company an additional value.

 

What You’ll Bring

· Adobe Illustrator experience, mainly applied on the Automotive environment and 2D parts design with 3D looking.

   (Adobe illustrator installation is mandatory for all candidates)

· Automotive Graphics Design, Arts, Graphic/Industrial Design or similar.

· Proactive Team worker, Creativeness, Apprentice skills

· Fluent Windows and MS Office user

· Medium English skills.

· Attending to detail to ensure consistency and accuracy of final products

· Working well with others since projects are often done as a Team

· Problem-solving to make adjustments when plans don’t go as expected

Valuable

· Knowledge on other design tools, mainly in the Adobe Cloud package, like Photoshop, Bridge, etc.

· Knowledge on modeling with Maya

· Knowledge in the Design area, Animation, Video edition

· Knowledge or personal interest for the Automotive sector.

· Provide all necessary skills and requirements needed for the job here (including education required, years of experience, PC knowledge, hard skills etc.).

· Ability to sit for multiple hours at a time and to work multiple hours a day at a computer keyboard.

· Ability to remain alert and focused during the work day.

· All other related and/or additional responsibilities that may be required or assigned
