Your New Role 

 

In this role you will be part of Global’s Commercial Data Strategy team – Outdoor, a fast and dynamic team tasked with delivering data-driven solutions and impactful insights to our clients across multiple markets and environments. 

 

As a Data Strategy Executive on the team you will be working closely with various teams across the Commercial department, and will be responding to briefs from our advertising partners, developing compelling insights, and utilizing the wealth of data sources at your disposal to create strategic brief responses. 

 

Alongside your manager, you will also play a role in helping craft the future development of Global’s data proposition across the outdoor and insight parts of the business, with opportunities to help develop tools and new ways of working with our data sources. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responding to commercial team data briefs (70%): Produce compelling data-led solutions for our Commercial team – developing a relationship with each team to increase your profile and create opportunities for more use of our data offerings. 

  • Data Team Offering Development (30%)Help develop our tools and use of data sets across the team to provide more insights, faster.

What Success Looks Like 

 

In your first few months, you’ll have: 

  • Built strong relationships with internal teams, from the wider Insight and Data team, to the Commercial Team and DAX team. 

  • Gained proficiency in Global’s datasets and analytics tools. 

  • Work alongside all types of clients that book with Global, and responded to a large variety of unique and interesting briefs. 

  • Set a personal development plan and defined ways of working. 

  • Thrived in a supportive, passionate team. 

What You’ll Need 

  • Data Manipulation KnowledgeThe ability to translate complex datasets into impactful and compelling insight. Experience with Tableau, Excel, Alteryx or Snowflake is an advantage. 

  • Passion for MediaA genuine interest in the media landscape and the role that data and technology play in it. 

  • Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in adapting and combining data sources to provide accurate figures for our partners. 

  • Collaboration Skills: The ability to work well with colleagues from multiple teams across the business  

  • Client & Brand Insight: The ability to align content with both client and Global objectives. 

  • Flexibility & Positivity: A can-do attitude to manage different client briefs on the go.
