Arbor Homes is seeking a Data Specialist to join our Indianapolis team. This position will create and maintain data necessary to build homes and create purchase orders, as well as collaborate in data driven initiatives with other departments. We are looking for an analytical professional who thrives on opportunities to build and evaluate data, and who can facilitate working solutions in a collaborative setting.

What Will You Be Doing?

  • Build data in Excel upload sheets 

  • Perform quantity takeoffs utilizing blueprints 

  • Create and maintain takeoff matrices in Excel 

  • Collaborating on data driven initiatives with other departments 

  • Troubleshoot errors encountered by end users 

  • Migrate existing data to standardized parameters 

  • Assist in training new data specialists 

  • Assist in the maintenance of costs and retail 

  • Communicate changes to end users 

What Will You Bring?

  • Strong computer, quantitative, and analytical skills 

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required 

  • Ability to work with large data sets 

  • Excellent troubleshooting and organization skills 

  • Strong aptitude for communication and collaboration 

  • Experience in residential construction preferred but not required 

  • Experience with Sapphire Build or other ERP system preferred 

  • Ability to work independently on day-to-day tasks
