The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Business Solutions organization is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Data Solutions Architect to join the team in Seattle, WA; San Antonio, TX; or Jacksonville, FL.

This Architect is a highly motivated individual with a strong passion for solving complex problems and challenges. They are driven and will have a passion for building large-scale data products.

Position Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, maintain, and optimize scalable databases across a variety of data domains (KPIs, manufacturing, project / program management, Safety / Quality, risk management, & business operations)

• Problem solve for structured and unstructured complex data problems to support a team of data analysts and data scientists

• Define and implement data ingestion strategies (batch, streaming), transformation patterns (ELT/ETL), and orchestration for a multitude of disparate data sources

• Complete data modeling for acquisition and database implementation collaborating with different stakeholders

• Lead activities to develop and maintain complex infrastructure systems (e.g., data warehouses, data lakes) including data access Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

• Guide other data and analytics professionals on data standards and practices

• Create a culture of sharing, reuse, design for scale stability, and operational efficiency of data and analytics solutions

• Leverage automation extensively for scalability, repeatability, and reuse

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 14+ in data engineering work experience or equivalent academic related course work

• 9+ years of experience building platforms and data products

• 9+ years of experience working with data and data warehousing business solutions

• 9+ years of experience with data pipeline tools and Extract Transform Load (ETL) services

• 4+ years of experience with cloud-platform technologies (AWS preferred)

• 4+ years experience with the configuration of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) for data ingestion (FastAPI preferred)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD practices, methodologies and tooling

• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) and GIT

• Experience with PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry)/Tanzu and Amazon Web Services

• Experience with Python, JavaScript, & multiple SQL languages

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary pay range: $172,550 - $249,550
