The Collection Platforms & AI team focuses on building ML powered products and capabilities to power natural language understanding, data extraction, information retrieval and data sourcing solutions for S&P Global and our clients. You will spearhead development of production-ready AI products and pipelines while leading-by-example in a highly engaging work environment. You will work in a global team and encouraged for thoughtful risk-taking and self-initiative.
Responsibilities and Impact:
Design and develop scalable machine learning models and AI systems for natural language understanding and data extraction applications
Build and maintain production-ready AI pipelines and infrastructure to support real-time data processing and model deployment
Lead the development of information retrieval systems that enhance data sourcing capabilities for S&P Global's platforms
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical AI solutions and product features
Drive innovation in ML methodologies while ensuring robust testing, monitoring, and optimization of AI models in production
Mentor team members and contribute to technical decision-making processes that shape the future of AI products at S&P Global
What We're Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Data Science, or related technical field
3+ years of experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production environments
Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform for ML model deployment and scaling
Proficiency in data processing technologies including but not limited to Apache Spark, Pandas, or similar data manipulation tools
Strong understanding of natural language processing techniques and information retrieval systems
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with MLOps tools and practices such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or similar model lifecycle management platforms
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift for model deployment
Experience with big data technologies and distributed computing frameworks for large-scale data processing
Previous experience in financial services, data analytics, or enterprise software development environments
