Your future missions :
The challenges of the team are to build and deploy new models & methodologies to understand, anticipate and drive the helicopter market.
The team is in contact with a large audience of internal stakeholders within the group in an international context.

This position allows you to be at the heart of the company's strategic issues, to be an actor in the company's decision making process.
Your main missions will be :
Your main mission will be to develop, maintain & support scientific methods and models for helicopter market forecasts and analysis. This includes the development of new econometric or optimization models and apply statistical methodologies to support the strategic decision making process of Airbus Helicopters.
You will Analyze data properties and apply scientific methods to propose or develop solutions using statistical, machine learning (AI) techniques
Design and execute controlled experiments to identify and validate optimal solutions.
You will collaborate with IT and Data Analysts to extract and integrate structured and unstructured data from various sources.
You will work closely with Data Engineers to design scalable data pipelines and ensure efficient data flow for model training and evaluation.
You will have to ensure compliance with all external and internal regulations and standards.
You will have to create monitoring protocols to ensure models align with evolving business needs.
You will leverage and model large, diverse, internal and external datasets, encompassing helicopter fleet, flight operations, and macroeconomic/econometric data, with opportunities to work on geospatial data linked to real aircraft flights.
You will be responsible for ensuring data quality standards all along the process.
You must have a proven ability to drive business insights with data-based insights.
You must be comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders and functional teams, presenting different levels of understanding of technical aspects (data, governance, econometrics, …).
You will have the possibility to share best practices, insights, and techniques with the wider data community.
Your profile :
Strong knowledge of Econometrics model (PhD, …).
Knowledge on data quality framework, pipelines, database management.
Skills in different programmation languages (Python, R, SQL, PySpark, Polars, …)
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a team-based setting.
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks.
Knowledge about the aerospace domain & Data visualization is a plus.
Advanced level of English (& French).
