Salary Range: $127829 - $197200 Per Year
Job Summary: This position is located at Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Inspector General, Inspector General. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for supporting the work of the OIG within the Office of Information Technology. Tasks include planning and executing data and analytical studies of HUD Program areas, developing scripts, algorithms and models, and performing data management functions.

Qualifications: You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as the following: -Collaborates with staff in creating advanced analytic products, such as numerical and statistical analyses or AI algorithms. AND -Researches and develops statistical learning models for data analysis and advancing analytic methodologies. AND -Experience using and delivering both supervised and unsupervised modeling to make business decisions and forecasting outcomes for customer and/or stakeholders.
