Job Summary

Responsible for solving complex business problems by extracting knowledge and insights from large data sets, especially unstructured text.

Uses Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI techniques to extract insights at scale from a range of rich of textual data sources. Enables exploration of this unstructured data with techniques like RAG, Knowledge Graphs, and advanced statistical analysis. Augments textual data with additional metadata to generate actionable insights and solutions.

Builds pipelines for efficient processing of these data, to enable fast and flexible business insights.

Explores emerging AI-based techniques, especially agentic workflows, that improve our CX, our products, and our go-to-market capabilities.

Aligns technical roadmap to business strategies, and ensures insights are actionable.

The team is composed of experts in artificial intelligence, deep learning, data-structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and system performance and analysis. The systems that the team builds get used across the multitude of Company data science-based services and deployments. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Interacts with CX, Strategy, Product, and other business-facing teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments. 
  • Generates actional insights from data quickly. Builds AI-driven processes that make these insights repeatable, flexible, and scalable. 
  • Synthesizes prompts and context by joining multiple data sources for LLM analysis; tracks accuracy and reliability of results 
  • Communicates insights effectively; uses data to drive improvement in the business. Engages with executive levels as appropriate. 
  • Enables non-technical users to explore unstructured data by building apps, agents, and other tools. 
  • Develops and codes software programs, algorithms and automated processes to cleanse, integrate and evaluate large datasets from multiple disparate sources. 
  • Contributes technical ideas; shares techniques learned through project work or other experiences.  
  • Researches and applies knowledge of existing and emerging data science principles, theories, and techniques to inform business decisions. 
  • Uses analytical rigor and statistical methods to analyze large amounts of data, extracting actionable insights using advanced statistical techniques such as data analysis, data mining, optimization tools and machine learning techniques and statistics (e.g., predictive models, lifetime value, propensity models). 
  • Creates data mining architectures/models/protocols, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies to identify trends in large data sets. 
  • Builds customer centric models and optimization tools to support large scale projects that utilize online and offline data, structured and unstructured data, set top box data and media/behavioral/attitudinal data. 
  • Consistently exercises of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance. 
  • Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
