Data Science Solution Consultant Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree St NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.

This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Data Science Solution Consultant Senior is responsible for program processes for data setup and enabling advanced analytic capabilities.

How You Will Make an Impact: 

  • Collaborate with Data Scientists and engineers to create ideas for implementing advanced analytic capabilities.
  • Perform code reviews.
  • Maintain technical development environment and implementation plan.
  • Assist in developing training documentation and advise on best coding practices.
  • Develop and perform unit testing.
  • Fix defects identified during testing and re-execute unit tests to validate results.
  • Gather requirements to guide approach and solution.
  • Provide status and risks to management team.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in related occupation(s).
  • Three (3) years of related experience with big data.

Experience Requirements:

  • Three (3) years of experience with Object‐oriented programming using at least one of the following: Scala, Python.
  • Three (3) years of experience with Data engineering with at least two big data technologies, including Hadoop, Spark, MapReduce, Hive, Impala, PIG, or HBase.
  • Three (3) years of experience with SQL with traditional data warehouse technologies.
  • Three (3) years of experience with relational databases.
  • Two (2) years of experience with at least one job scheduler, including ControlM, CA ESP, or Airflow.
  • Two (2) years of experience with Shell scripting to automate tasks in Unix environment.
