We are seeking an experienced Manager to join our Data Science team under the guidance of the Director of Analytics & Decision Science. This role offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects, work across departments to deliver analytics solutions, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
As a senior team member, you’ll develop and execute on Data Science strategies and roadmaps, mentor analysts, and play a critical role in shaping how we use data to drive success. The Data Science Manager will function as the leader around Predictive Modelling, AI, and Automation. There will be considerable on the job training and opportunities to significantly expand your role.

Responsibilities:
The holder of this position may perform the following tasks:
Lead AI/ML Projects: Manage and deliver medium/large-scale AI/ML projects, from planning to execution, ensuring deliverables meet business needs.
Provide Data Expertise: Act as the go-to expert on internal data resources, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with IT, project managers, and business teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
Drive Process Improvement: Develop standardized protocols for data extraction, management, and quality assurance.
Provide Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior team members, guiding their development and ensuring high-quality output.
Provide Strategic Input: Contribute to the development of data management standards, prototypes, and reporting models to drive organizational goals.
Deliver Presentations & Communication: Prepare compelling presentations to share insights with management and key stakeholders.
Keep Abreast of Market Trends: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and developments in healthcare and logistics.
Work Experience:
Proficiency in Python, AI/ML Frameworks, relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)
Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
Experience with Databricks, Power Automate and Alteryx is considered a plus
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education:
Minimum 3+ years of experience in AI/ML development roles including deploying solutions in a production environment
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in leading small teams of data scientists
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics
Requires training in fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer science generally obtained through completion of a three/four-year bachelor’s degree program
Requires a minimum of four years direct progressively responsible experience in a data science field, ideally in a relevant sector – ideally logistics
Skills and Knowledge:
Building Quantitative/Machine learning models to help achieve team goals. These will likely differ from case to case.
Validating various AI models
Hands on experience coding and understanding algorithms
Ability to effectively participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams
Ability to provide expert steer and knowledge into wider team settings, leading where required
Ability to consult business units with a professional demeanour
Maturity and poise required to manage junior team member(s) essential

Salary Range for Lithuania:
€3,819- €5,456 gross per month
