As a Data Science Associate, you will work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will collaborate closely with senior business stakeholders in the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) organization and other organizations within Pfizer, and help drive data-driven decision-making across the marketing organization. You will be responsible for developing new capabilities including enhancing our marketing measurement and optimization frameworks and delivering actionable insights that inform and optimize marketing efforts.
Successful candidates will be client oriented, have excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills and have experience in marketing analytics. Will have a passion for bridging the gap between data, technology, and people.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support and maintain existing AI Forecasting data science processes
Serve as domain expert in the field of data science forecasting to answer technical questions about deliverables
Contribute to methodology development and experimentation to support new capabilities development
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align analytics capabilities with broader business objectives
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in any discipline with quantitative and analytic coursework in such disciplines as STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) majors with quantitative emphasis such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering
Fluent in English, both written and verbal
Technically strong with proficiency in data extraction and analytic programming languages including Python and SQL and hands-on experience with Excel
Good understanding of basic business concepts
Knowledgeable in application of statistics and data science techniques such as machine learning or similar quantitative approaches to solve real-world analytical problems
Good communication, presentation, and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate data into insights for diverse audiences.
Collaborative and results-oriented with a strong work ethic and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
Proficient in the usage of AI tools to reduce cognitive load and manual labor in their own work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledgeable with time-series forecasting
Experience working with pharmaceutical data and/or working in a commercial pharma setting
Experience with analytic and visualization tools such as Tableau
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
