Job Summary
As a member of the Fraud and Recovery Analytics team, the Data & Reporting Senior Analyst will be responsible for reporting, analysis, and data management for GI Claims Fraud and Recovery (F&R). This position will work globally and cross functionally with internal and external teams such as F&R Leadership, Regional Leads, Country Managers, F&R Performance as well as Claims, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Underwriting, and the Data Office.
The Data & Reporting Senior Analyst will also be responsible for supporting the delivery of the F&R analytics strategy in partnership with leaders and stakeholders in the F&R and Claims organizations. The role will need to understand business and stakeholder needs and develop insights and analytics in support of those needs while maintaining an approach of global consistency, transparency, and alignment. Analytics will then be converted and used for insights for Claims, Underwriting and Product teams.
How you'll create an impact
Responsible for global reporting, analysis, and data management for GI Claims Fraud and Recovery
Deliver monthly and quarterly results at a Global/ Regional/ Product level, including but not limited to Monthly Business Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, Deep Dive reporting, etc.
Bring trend insights to F&R and Claims leadership and collaborate on the underlying story driving changes to metrics
Perform analysis of fraud, recovery, and loss information and identify trends that will minimize business and operational risk as well as contextualize business changes
Manage quality control process of data for Fraud and Recovery, i.e. gathering, cleansing, reconciling data and working with business managers to correct data
Support data governance framework and processes within F&R and act as the point of contact with the AIG Data Governance team
Develop, deploy, and manage production of visualization dashboards for internal and external stakeholders
Build analytical capabilities leveraging in-house and vendor technologies
Support digital and data projects and liaise with the AIG Data Office and third parties on data-related tasks, e.g. data mappings, data validation, user acceptance testing, etc.
Work in close partnership with F&R Regional Performance team to support operational and strategic deliverables
Support risk management efforts and manage analytical models
Conduct industry research and incorporate data from external resources into current reporting workstreams
Support strategic projects and initiatives
What you'll need to succeed
6+ years in Business Analysis, Risk, Fraud (investigative services) and/or Claims Recovery
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, finance or related field
High proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools to transform data into meaningful dashboards
Intermediate knowledge of SQL and/or Python
Experience working with and interpreting large sets of data
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills are necessary
Analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple deliverables
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
