07The Team: S&P Global Market Intelligence Cross Reference Data Quality team is part of Data Excellence & Partnership Team. The team is involved in the data quality/sanity of company and security identifiers such as ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL, LEI, D&B DUNs, SEC CIK data from 3rd party vendor. It also works on suggesting reports, stakeholder engagement, creating & showcasing periodic scorecards, enrichment, correction and standardizing of the data to produce market leading cross reference product namely GICRS, BECRS, Company Relationship.
The Impact: You will be responsible to do systematic QA of incoming data as well as on audits. You will be working closely with peers, client support, data stewards and data operations to provide superior data.

Responsibilities:
Responsible to perform accuracy check on various data points collected by data collection team.
Analyze error trends and root causes of opportunity areas
Identify procedural gaps, and data inconsistencies, and work with content team to improve them.
Red flag any area which can impact the BAU.
Provides input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements related to the dataset
Troubleshoot problems or issues and provide support to the team
Collaborate across various teams to understand where to focus next
Deliver on expected productivity and timeliness targets.
Proactively looking for procedure/ audit suggestions.
What We’re Looking For:
Analytical mindset and strong in logical reasoning
Should have exposure to work on data analysis through excel, customizing SQL queries and reporting inferences through dashboard
Good knowledge of company and security identifiers such as LEI, DUNs, ISIN, CUSIP, SEDOL, SEC CIK etc.
Strong attention to details and persistent approach to work
Effective communication skill (written & Verbal) and sound computer skills are the prerequisites for the positions
Strong desire of upskilling
1-3 years of experience in financial services/investment management
Team player
Flexible to work in various shift timings, including rotational night shifts
Basic Qualifications:
Education – Graduate/postgraduate in finance/MBA
Advance Proficiency of MS Excel
Sound knowledge of technical skills, such as SQL (Sequel)
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau will be an added advantage.
Basic Knowledge of Lean concepts is desirable.
