Your responsibilities:
- Support of EU Data Protection Officer
- Acting as global business partner for data protection related enquiries
- Advising and monitoring Data Protection compliance incl. Internal and external Audits (on-site/remote)
- Supporting compliance with Fresenius Medical Care’s corporate guidelines and governance policies
- Identifying potential risks and developing appropriate (preventive) mitigating actions
- Automating standard processes
- Training on Data Protection and AI
Your Profile:
- Law degree required
- Additional certification in Data Protection and/or AI governance is a plus
- 3+ years post-qualification experience in Data Protection
- Sound knowledge of the GDPR, the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU AI Act
- New technology-oriented mindset
- Advanced skills and experience in negotiating and advising on complex or high value/risk matters
- Ability to translate a wide variety of principles and complex legal requirements into actionable solutions for the business
- High degree of integrity, confidentiality, trust and accountability
- Excellent organizational, facilitation, communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work autonomously, yet a team player
- Strong result driven attitude, flexible, strong ethical backbone
- Humor and self-modesty, whilst working with highest professionalism and motivation for the company
- Fluent in German and English
