Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Operations - Support Engineer to join our team in India. This role involves providing critical support for our data platforms and applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and reliability. You will be instrumental in maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure, troubleshooting complex issues, and collaborating with various teams to deliver seamless data operations.
Job Responsibilities**
* Provide technical support and incident resolution for data operations, including ETL processes, data warehousing, and business intelligence solutions.
* Monitor and maintain the health and performance of data platforms, identifying and proactively addressing potential issues.
* Perform root cause analysis for data-related incidents and implement permanent solutions to prevent recurrence.
* Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline data operations tasks, utilizing Python and PySpark.
* Support and troubleshoot issues related to various data integration tools, including Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Syncsort.
* Assist in the administration and optimization of cloud-based data services on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
* Collaborate with business analysts to understand data requirements and ensure data solutions meet business needs.
* Support and troubleshoot integrations with business applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud, and Workday.
* Work with middleware technologies to ensure smooth data flow between systems.
* Support and maintain reporting solutions built on SAP BusinessObjects.
* Document support procedures, troubleshooting guides, and system configurations.
* Participate in on-call rotations and provide off-hours support as needed.
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
* Proven experience in data operations, data support, or a similar technical role.
* Strong proficiency in Python (Programming Language) and PySpark for data manipulation and automation.
* Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) data services.
* Solid understanding and practical experience with ETL concepts and tools, particularly Informatica PowerCenter, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and Syncsort.
* Experience with middleware technologies.
* Familiarity with business analysis principles and their application in data solutions.
* Experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, Oracle Service Cloud, and Workday Software.
* Knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects for reporting and analytics.
* Experience with React.js is a plus.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
