About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and experienced team member to conduct daily operational task from the Data Validation & Update Squad, the second stage in the product data lifecycle within the Product Data Operations vertical. This team plays a critical role in validating and updating high-quality data for key products such as Know Your Customer Registry (KYC-R), SwiftRef Standing Settlement Instructions (SSI) and Sanctions List Distribution/List Management Services (LMS).
Key Responsibilities / What to Expect
As a member of the Data Validation & Update Squad (DVU) within Product Data Operations, you will play a hands‑on role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and ongoing validity of critical product data. This role sits at the core of daily operations and contributes directly to data quality, operational efficiency, and business continuity.
Operational Execution
- Perform daily BAU operational tasks related to data validation, updates, and maintenance across key products, including KYC Registry (KYC‑R), SwiftRef SSI, and Sanctions List Distribution / List Management Services (LMS).
- Validate data and documentation against defined standards, requirements, and control frameworks before publication or update.
- Execute data updates and refresh activities in line with agreed processes, timelines, and SLAs.
- Ensure all activities are completed in adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and control requirements.
Data Quality & Controls
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, inconsistencies, or quality issues in a timely manner.
- Apply quality checks and peer‑review principles (e.g. 2‑eyes / 4‑eyes) where required.
- Contribute to maintaining high data quality outcomes, supporting defined quality metrics and thresholds.
- Escalate risks, issues, or anomalies promptly, with clear context and supporting evidence.
Collaboration & Cross‑Team Support
- Work closely with other squads within Product Data Operations and relevant stakeholders to support end‑to‑end data lifecycle activities.
- Provide consistent and reliable support during periods of high workload, process changes, or operational transitions.
- Participate in structured cross‑team collaboration where required to ensure continuity of service.
Process Adoption & Improvement
- Adopt and apply new or updated processes as operating models evolve.
- Provide practical feedback on operational pain points, inefficiencies, or improvement opportunities.
- Support the stabilization and embedding of new processes following rollouts or changes.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, decisions taken, and evidence required for audit or review purposes.
- Contribute to keeping operational documentation, SOPs, and reference materials up to date.
Learning & Capability Building
- Build and maintain strong functional knowledge across assigned products and scopes.
- Actively participate in training, onboarding, and cross‑product upskilling initiatives as required.
- Demonstrate accountability, ownership, and continuous learning in a fast‑paced operational environment.
What will make you successful:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following fields:
- Business, Operations Management
- Data Management, Information Management, or Information Systems
- Finance, Banking
- Risk, Compliance, or a related discipline
Skills & Experience
- Experience in operational, data management, or quality‑assurance roles, ideally within financial services, KYC, reference data, sanctions, or regulatory environments.
- Familiarity with data validation, data maintenance, or document‑based verification processes.
- Ability to follow defined SOPs, control frameworks, and quality standards with discipline and consistency.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and tools, with the ability to quickly learn new platforms or workflows.
- Experience working in BAU‑driven environments with competing priorities and time‑bound deliverables.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with a clear understanding of the impact of data quality on downstream consumers.
- Accountability and ownership for assigned tasks, including timely completion and proper escalation of issues or risks.

- Comfortable operating within control environments (e.g. 2‑eyes / 4‑eyes checks, evidence capture, audit readiness).
